mortgage leads: Sounds great doesn't it? Unfortunately
like most things, you get what you pay for. Don't be caught
by this scam! Companies offering free mortgage leads end
up doing one of two things:
1. They give the mortgage broker leads that have been sitting
for weeks, which probably can't be sold to any broker anyway.
2. They give the mortgage broker a lead that is so good,
it is not representative of all the leads the company provides.
The broker gets one "hot" lead then buys hundreds of leads,
thinking that all leads are of that caliber.
That is why we try to stay away from free mortgage leads
with Leads Expo. Does that mean we never give out sample
leads? Of course not. It just means that any mortgage lead
you get for free may not be entirely representative of all
the leads in your state. If price sensitivity is an issue,
Leads Expo recommends signing up for our 25 leads package.
That will give you enough leads to gauge a leads conversion
rate without being an extremely large investment on your
part.
